AIs AIs and more… AIs.
AI landscape has been one of the most surprising fields in the tech industry in terms of how fast the development is. In 2025, we’ve seen how AI emerged, especially as a software engineer. IDEs, tools, image generations, and even physical devices adapted AIs. At the start of 2026, AI continues to improve, LLMs, tools. This led me thinking “What kind of future do I envision with AI?”
Anthropic recently released a tool “Claude Cowork”. If you’re familiar with Anthropic’s work, you might be familiar with “Claude Code”. Claude Code is a tool used widely by tech people (software engineers, developers, etc.) to integrate AI in their workflow. I have been using different AI tools, Cursor, Copilot, and even Claude Code. And by far, Claude Code is the best. Well, going back, Claude Cowork is a new tool released by Anthropic for non-tech people. It can create summaries for your meetings, book meetings for you, create presentations, and whatever you can do with a computer. Amazing, right?
A recent tool (which I embarassingly forgot the name), was released earlier this year too for marketers. The whole idea of the tool, “You don’t need marketing hires anymore”. It shows how an AI tool would be your “New marketing hire”. It aims to replace marketers with AI, basically. Now that might be faster? more efficient? more productive?
At the rate where AI is trying to be everywhere and trying to replace everyone, I want to ask myself, “How do I see the future at this rate?” For me, that future is kind of, scary. It’s just full of… AIs. Paint me a picture: It’s the year 2030. Everyone’s using AI. You can’t hardly distinguish if an image or a video posted online is AI generated. Netflix, but instead of 500 employees, it’s just 50 who’s all using AI to trim down employee rate. Tiktok generates more videos than ever, but it’s mostly AI generated. I could go on. One could argue that it’s cheaper, faster, more efficient, more everything. That might be true, but what’s the place of humans in this kind of future? What’s now the importance of humans?
I do use AI in my daily work. As I’ve mentioned, it’s faster, more efficient, and more productive in most ways. Solving problems, creating features, and shipping products have never been more attainable. AI just does it. Yes I do like using AI, it helps me a lot in my work. I do think AI is still in the stages of volatility. Where a lot of things are still changing, not permanent, and happens more than we expect it to be. More tools, models, and products are gonna emerge, which could shape the future of tech. I couldn’t predict what the future holds. I can only adapt. Until said future is here, we’ll always try to adapt, as software engineers, and as humans. And maybe, hope for a brighter future.
